Important: When installation is complete, start PowerDirector and input the product key (also known as serial number, activation key, or CD-key) in the popup window that displays. Note: Please ensure you close all other applications, including anti-virus software and instant messaging programs, before you begin installing CyberLink PowerDirector. Disc 2 contains the extra content including the bonus Creative Design Packs.

You must first install the PowerDirector main program from disc 1 before installing the extra content (if you have disc 2).ĭisc 1 contains the main program and the content pack together as one installation. The retail box version of CyberLink PowerDirector includes one or two physical installation DVD discs in the box, depending on the version you purchased. If you purchased the box version of CyberLink PowerDirector: Install CyberLink PowerDirector from DVD Disc (Box Version) It is recommended that you back up your downloaded PowerDirector executable files, by either burning them to a disc or backing them up on another hard drive. Important: Make sure the total file size downloaded is correct before running the installer. If you cannot find the SmartSound audio clips or you find only a few templates in the library, please make sure you have installed all of the content pack files. The Content Pack Premium file includes the new templates for the latest version of PowerDirector. The Content Pack Essential file includes all the effects, templates, and menus for the previous PowerDirector version.
The content pack files don’t affect the program functions.
Then after the installation is finished, install the content packs to ensure that all of the effects, templates, and menus are available to you in the PowerDirector library.
